I'm a Tri-X 400 guy so that's what I'd use.

The most common choice seems to be Ilford HP5 Plus... I like JCH SP400 from Japan Camera Hunter, it's a tad costly when compared. I have shot JCH in 135 form and like the results - maybe for specific occasions. Ilford SFX 200 B&W (infrared) would be a... 

I think I’ll get a few different ones and see how it goes. Infrared sounds like fun
