Again your photo amazes me. I find your style of photography so intens, so catching. Somehow I can look at it full screen for relatively long time. And the longer I look at it, the more I see. The more I can in my mind see the surroundings and try to place it in context.

That may sound strange but I’m sure that anyone who appreciates art, understands exactly the point I’m trying to make.

What struck me and why I took the photo is that it was such a monochrome situation. It was like taking a photo of a Photo (if that makes any sense).

The walled up entrance behind the ladder reminded me of an old story... just yesterday I watched the 1998 version of "The Man in the Iron Mask" staring Leonardo DiCaprio, Jeremy Irons, John Malkovich, Gérard Depardieu and Gabriel Byrne... What lies behind...
