A walk to the coffee shop
Jun 23, 2020,10:35 AM
Two photos taken a while back while walking to the coffee shop from my hotel.
I like the second one best. Perhaps it has some of the same loneliness feeling which was also evident in my last post. That feeling from these photos is interesting for me given that the location is one of the world’s greatest metropolitan areas. Similarly, my last post location was also pretty much the center of another great global city yet the subjects seemed very isolated or alone.

Do you see a plus here? Of walking in these areas where it used to be bustling with people?
Nice photographs.

I suppose, in time, we’ll look back at these photos and remember this strange time we’re all living through. Regards Kev.
Great photos

When I look at them I feel a certain sadness or better put emptiness. Especially in the context of COVID. That makes it very powerful photos to me Thanks for sharing
Looks an awful lot like Japan...

the barron trees add to the sense of isolation... I like the multiple levels of the second photograph. Casey
No, but you are not so far off.

It’s walking towards Roppongi a little after passing the InterContinental. Maybe somewhere around Tanimachi Junction.
