Actually I prefer the first one because of this nice blurred green background that rocks imo, then the second for the same reason (that green yellow background is not bad too). The last one is much easier to shoot with a big depth of field (closed diaphra...

Yes, it benefits from a wide dof but the focus still goes to the flower itself, with a subtle blue sky peeking around the top edges.

with macro the point of focus is one of the keys... close focus but enough distance to define the subject, it's a balancing act... I like. Casey

I'm looking forward to the next blooming season to start again. Playing with the focus is frustrating and fun.
