I come from a family if artists. My grandfather worked for Georgia Okeefe. I think that part is nature and then there is nurture which was my own formal training in painting. So I think perhaps I am good at spotting natural compositions.
They are really all around us and it’s just taking the time and having the background to spot them. And also it helps if you are mathematically inclined.
