For portraiture for me at least the eyes always draws the viewer into the image.

Not an expert by any means, but I feel the railing in the 2nd shot sort of interrupts the subject. Either way, thanks for sharing some nice photos!

I would have cropped a bit of the space above their head, specially in the first one. In the second one there is even more but I assume it is on purpose as part of the composition...

for the second one, i did want to have the sky as part of the background. perhaps, it was a little too much. also, if i were to crop the photo and maintain the original aspect ratio, part of the model will be cut off, which leads me to the following quest...

As a photographer, the second is more interesting to me because of the interesting 'take-aways' Why did I take that particular shot? (what was I trying to accomplish) and no matter how positive the results... always / every photo: What would I do differen...
