I used a long shutterspeed so the water looks more flat and silky and thus the reflections become better

The ray of lights on the first one were reflections of an awful lot of sanddust in the air. Very fine particles, daytime hardly visible but at night when caught in a the beam of a powerful light, these rays come out. I agree the last one (now that you men... 

But you never forget a good location... The same is often true about revisiting themes or special composition combinations. Soon the "to-do" bucket list is almost but not quite unmanageable ;-) Casey .
