I learned on a similar device but one that was adapted to take a small motor... an activity from a different time... brings back lots of fond memories. Now days the most we do is sew on a missing button... There are still a couple of sewing shops in the a... 

That the current crisis will result in massive economic set back which will bring back those shops again

will be more if this crisis prolong

plenty of this around the country......for people to make a living. I tried to learn when I was young but failed.....LoL.....but learnt how to hand sew flowers

Now it seems so sad.
