Think the only time I ever saw one in the wild was with my wife right outside our hotel in Avila Beach, California, many years ago.

The first photo is the current crop, in the nest outside our bedroom. I heard my wife say she thought there was a mother at work and I saw two birds “courting” a month or so past, but I only found the nest today. Mike
