Superb series. The BW gives additional emotion and in my humble view the monochrome delivers a kind of intimacy It emphasizes the poverty and makes me rethink and realize how fortunate we are sometimes more than we realize Thank you for sharing

Thank you...

I'm glad the photos offered an emotional connection and I was able to share some of my experiences there with you. I was particularly happy when visiting the villages and the people there. They were genuinely friendly and welcoming and it just felt great ...

Great.

My favorites are your landscapes - numbers 4 and 5, and the image of the young girl in the field (number 2). Thanks for posting this here, as stated elsewhere, black and white is as complimentary a format for these settings as it gets. Cheers, Filip

Thanks Filip.

The landscapes were from Ha Long Bay. The young girl is such a darling! The children were happy and played with natural resources and made their own toys - a healthy upbringing.

Thanks my friend! [nt]

The oldest daughter is very attentive and everyone is bundled up against the cold, I like the pan action ; ) In that first photo of the boat (tidal flats?), is something going on in the middle foreground... I can't quite make it out, almost looks like a g...

the most common mode of transport and there's no limit to the number of passengers. It's just a piece of white cloth or plastic sheet that somehow made its way there (probably came from the tourists). The PJ girl was waiting to talk to the guard/policeman...

Bravo! Beautiful Series of Photos!
