Only been to NOLA the one time... spring break.
My camera that trip was the Pentax Spotmatic ... It would be fun to revisit with a different perspective. What sticks in my mind was the architecture. Beautifully vibrant urban setting. Thanks for the pics ... Casey .

...it's an odd place. One of the most dangerous cities in the U.S. where people (the locals) are really friendly and the food is great. But the infrastructure and roads are third world. Very odd...
I always tell my friends...
If you want to go to a different country but don't want to leave the US go to New Orleans.
I had the same thought when I saw the photo.
When I lived there I recall some of us had personal accounts at Rubensteins. Shop, take it home, get a bill in the mail later. There were some bars that did that too.
I didn't know that about Rubenstein's.
For some reason I'm not surprised about the bars;-)))
