The day I was there it was mostly local people so very relaxing
When you travel with such trains and snow outside, your trip is definitely different and you probably enjoy it more

I really like the small local trains...
and the snow is definitely a plus... there is one more post from the Aomori trip... maybe on the weekend or early next week. BTW I am off to Karuizawa next week for three days... Looking forward to experience that location in winter...
I have not been to "Tazawako", Akita Prefecture...
The only ski resorts I have spent any time at were in Nagano and Hokkaido and then only to take photos... Fact is I have never been to Akita... now I have a reason to visit ; )
Very nice series.
I think the first photo stands out for all the shades of white and gray/silver. Interesting for a color shot. I like number 4-arond the city-for the same reason.

The way I process color film tends to be with a little less saturation and contrast than digital... that first photo was also shot through a very dirty window ; ) Thanks for the observation.
