I woke this morning and noticed orange notes on the clouds. So It was too tempting to get up and I walked down to the water to enjoy watching the sun rise. New Year can just be an other new day or it can be about new beginnings and dreams for the future. ...

Sadly not. We couldn’t make it fit with our work this year. Aaargh, I miss Andalusia and the bright light so much. Next year we want to go. Definitely! This picture was taken close to my home.

Just 5 min walking from my house. But this damned cold climate we have, is not my favorite ;-)

There is something about ringing in the New Year... I use to enjoy the count down, the dropping ball, the Red & White Show, however the eve is celebrated. Now it's the morning, the predawn hour that I seem to enjoy... I love a good sunset, a glass of wine...
