It's so nice to see those birds coming in your garden. It's a very quit estate here with only the golfers passing by (and the birds are used to them). Their biggest threat are the hunters" falcons and cats mostly ...

Great ones Sire.

Where I live is a park like an oasis in the desert. Hence all the birds

I believe there is an unwritten 'rule'...

that you must tell us what type of bird ; ) My favorite is the first photo, for the focus, OOF, colour... Casey .

The first one is a Olive Backed sunbird. The other one is a laughing dove. I agree with you the first one is much better then the other two. Thanks for looking

Plus

O yeah must add that on the second photo I really tried to play with dark point and exposure to get that dark area at which the bird is looking. This to create curiosity with the one who looks at the photo and to make him wonder what’s put there.

Thanks for the follow-up detail...

On my computer (Dell Laptop - Win10) the second (and third) seem a bit over exposed or adjusted to the point of looking a bit over exposed... at least that my interpretation on the computer I am using at the moment. I do like the black background... Casey...

Sharp eyes

You are correct, it was difficult to Wirk with the dynamic range. I’m slowly starting to understand why people shoot RAW instead of JPEG. RAW has more room to work with such dynamic ranges. But it’s a learning process haha

Gorgeous.
