With land and real estate being such a precious commodity in HK, why the gaping hole in buildings? Simple : Feng Shui It allows dragons to pass through unimpeded from the mountains to the sea, thus creating a natural air flow through the city and good Fen...

It has to do with the plot ratio as well. E.g. For a certain area of land you can only build a certain amount of sellable area. If you fill up the hole, that means the overall building will be much shorter; with a great big hole in the design, you can bui...

It certainly seems like the building is optimized for the owners view... Not sure I would want to live on the higher floors but it must be breath taking to look out over the surrounding area. I also like the photo presentation, clouds, color, etc... on my...
