No need to concern oneself with the economics of shooting lots of photos. Us frugal film guys don't have that luxury

Excluding couples I count one guy...

that sad pathetic guy with his arm in a sling ; ) and only two individuals actually using their phone... which must be some kind of record. Here street photographers get extra points if the 'subject' is not using their phone. Fun case study... Casey

. . . surveillance?" There was a photographer who set up a camera in his car to take snapshots of drivers as he passed them by. And he called those pictures "art".

It was a Monday, mid-afternoon, so I have no idea where anyone was coming from or going to.

I got the idea when sitting at this same cafe a week earlier, at around 5-5:30 and a lot of people were coming home from work. (I guess.)

The shooting took place over the course of a minute.

These are the people who walked by, in order. I was also surprised that so few men ended up in these pictures, but there is no editing.

Candid camera!

What was your method? Camera on the table, silent shutter, zone focusing?

The "camera", my iPhone, was held in front of me, just high enough for me to see what was being shot.

It was set on "portrait" mode, so there was an inability to size the picture.
