Back to my daily routine of walking around the neighborhood. Beautiful August morning here in Nagano Prefecture... Great to be outside enjoying the sunshine and fresh air. Just under one hour walking near the house... Thanks for looking, Casey . ...  

in rural areas you find these small plots in many places... sometimes just one family, sometimes a local community... in that photo I was walking an undeveloped road through farmland. Great way to start the day... if I feel up to it I may cut the grass in... 

no scanner nor post processing software here in Nagano... I left all in Tokyo. It will be a digital 3-6 months before I get back to the capital city. And yes, it's great to be out walking around ;-) Casey

have a good exercise for body and mind

It's in the 30s here but almost always a nice breeze. The only problem is that the grass grows too fast ;-) Casey

having a countryside to retreat away from the city is a luxury that is hardly available here. hope you'll have a good break from the city!

Now I just need to get my film cameras back into the action and I'll be a happy camper ;-) Casey
