and I have no idea whether it is a man or a woman...
but I marvel at how it conveys the dancing motion and the overall balance of the figuring...
the splay of the costume at its base nicely providing stability despite the tilting of the dancing action...
and this is from artisan craftsman some 2100 years ago...
