I love my Sinar P as well but it's not meant to go outside, even with 4x5 configuration, so both make sense, although, the Linhof can be used inside too. My first 4x5 was the Technikardan, an impressive camera that can be used pretty much in both cases. I...

I really liked it in concept, but it didn't click with me. Quite a versatile camera though, as you know much better than I do.

In a past life I have shot with a Linhof Technica and owned a Mamiya Press Super 23 with roll and sheet film [adjustable] back... both excellent cameras. Looking forward to some photographs. Lovely, Casey .
