using a rangefinder when the model is constantly posing is not easy indeed... still need lots of practice thanks for looking, everyone! ...

particularly at the f-stops you were using. The b&w conversion tend to 'sharpen-up' the images. The OOF areas are dreamy, even though there are (IMHO) some small issues with the background in the full portrait. Also somewhat visible in the second photo (r... 

i'm rather new to this lens and thus, not sure if those semi-circular shapes are an issue though they seem to appear sometimes when there are spots of light in the background. when I browse the internet for sample photos taken with this lens, I do see sim...

Especially if you were using the M10R with the Noctilux (wide open?). My favourite is the last pic. with the natural full pose in portrait mode (f2?). The background is more harmonious and less distracting than no.2 which is a great shot, nailing focus on... 

the photos were all taken at , including the last one (a little ambitious on my part I guess... hehe) and i agree with you that it does feel rewarding when some of the photos turn out right please feel free to give your feedback, as it can only help me to...  

This photo is tops IMO, I especially like the B&W . My comments are subjective and only reflects my point of view and how I see it, so please excuse my candor. Everyone can have their own opinion and personal favourites and like you, I love hearing co...

My order of preference is 2-1-3 Out of curiosity: did you have a specific reason for picking this particular location? I could be wrong but it would appear that there are 2 vertical lines on that white wall behind the model. And photo 2 has the tree branc... 

frankly, I didn't have any specific reason for picking the location. this was an organised session with 3 other photographers and I was conscious about not blocking any of them. my main objective was to practise my focusing and I must admit that compositi...

My choice would be 1-2-3 in this order : #1: I like her pose a lot: classic pose with hands that always works well giving a very soft and feminine touch to the photo. What I would have done is : a better focus on the eyes whether with manual or auto focus... 

as for expressing art, i'll try, but i'm not artistic to begin with... hehehe

I also prefer color here, when typically I'd opt for B&W. It seems to suit this model.
