Ah...the quick overnight visit...

I had one of those a few years ago...turned out to be a false alarm.
But hospitals are a serious health hazard. Far too much noise and constantly getting woken up for various tests, etc. Even my doctor friend thinks they aren't very conducive to good health.
In the U.S. at least, the nurses and technicians use computers and diagnostic equipment on rolling carts that they wheel through the hallways at all hours. You can hear them rolling down the hallway at 3am and wondering if they will stop at your bed, always relieved when it passes by to terrorize another patient.
So I coined a saying: "Ask not for whom the cart rolls, it rolls for thee."
