Besides the model, what is striking about it is obviously the depth of field and how changing it would/could change the picture.
It would be interesting to see a series of this shot with the lens stopped down in each case to see how the picture would change as the background comes into focus and the vanishing point becomes more apparent.
In fact when you look at this post with the tiny picture the background almost seems sharper than when you see the enlarged version.
Anyways, great picture.
