Patek Philippe

5053 and deployant

I recently acquired a 5053J, which is one of the more beautiful watches that I've owned, and am now debating whether or not to replace the tang buckle with a deployant.  I'm really going back and forth on this, because while I normally wear a clasp on virtually all of my watches, I've never owned a Patek deployant, my experience being primarily with the Lange/IWC design.  From various posts that I've read, the consensus on the Patek design appears to be mixed, with some loving it and others not, the primary concerns being both comfort and the overall look of the cross design (overkill).  Comfort, of course, is paramount, and as I have a fairly thin wrist (6 3/4 in), the clasp design is of a concern.  However, the overall look of the clasp in conjunction with the officer's case design of the 5053 also concerns me, given that the tang buckle is mounted to the strap with the classic screw attachment, which matches that of the strap attachment to the case.  What do you folks think?  Any observations/advice would be greatly appreciated.
