After reading everyone's posts about Basel this year,
I noticed the date dial on the perpetual -split -chronograph and the ladies perpetual appear to have two date numbers compressed to fit the dial layout.
Is this correct or am I seeing things?
By the way, the reports and photography everyone posted were great, thank you for sharing them.

Same on the 5140
Sure, the 5140 has smaller 5 and 27 also. Doesn't bother me at all....
Thank you for the information, I never paid much
attention to the 5140 and assumed it was just a 3940 on steroids, but it just seemed to jump out with the new perpetual split chronograph.
A compressed font is better than a cut-off font
in my opinion. So they don't bother me, infact I never knew my 5140 had these?! Mech.
