Good to hear. I am looking for that exact 5004P or the Black Baton version. There is a black baton in Italy for way to much. As for count. I think there are probably 750  at most total pieces of the 5004 (about 50 per year). Probably a little less because they produced few in the first 5 years because of the issues.  P is always about 10% of modern production. The last run of the A was 50. The 5004 and 5204 are still is by far the hardest comp bundle to manufacture. The man hours are crazy.

Maybe someone has better data.. I have seen 300 at some auction houses and resellers made stated but there are too many on the resale market for that to be the case. The resale market would look more like the 2499 if in fact there were only 300 out there..

The photo of it sitting on your wrist, in all its glory :) I agree Patek Philippe have designed & made some superb timepieces. But the period when the 5004 came from was an excellent one.

Love it! Have Ben looking for one myself. However the new movement in the 5204 is far superior. People forget the 5004 had many problems with the movement

The technical issues on the 5004s were on the earlier models

and Patek resolved the issue when the watch was sent to service. The 5204 is a beautiful watch but in my opinion 5004 is the ultimate classic. Only time will tell which watch will be treasured more by collectors. Many people missed out on the 5004 because...

Technical issues were largely pre-2003, and Patek serviced many of them. Any idea how many 5004s were produced in which metal / dial colour?

only made about 12, 5004s per year. I also think collectors have spoke when the last 5004A was released and it's now going for crazy money in the secondary market.
