Yin or Yang?

Even though compared to the 5196p I know the Patek Travel Time 5134p is not a commonly favored model (although we’ve had a couple of beautiful postings recently), I was still curious to see what you all thought of the following matchup of the white/silver dial versus the black dial (LE for Gubelin store anniversary). They are both platinum models. My impression is that this black dial version would nicely complement the 5107p, but ultimately I saw as too redundant. Still likely would have made a nice pair if funds were not a rate limiting factor.
Nonetheless, I’m curious if the Gubelin version wins over the silver for any of you and changes your overall impression of this model?

I owned and loved it in the past, but had to let it go given limited wear time. Although the strength and elegance of the black dial could sway one the other way. Each has its beauty and merits.
Strong points.

Specifically, your highlight of the dial balance (due to the wording along the x-axis and subdials along y) is a feature I didn’t consciously account for. Although, I do find the unilateral distribution of writing endearing in a way, as well as seeing the...
As a recent purchaser of a “regular” 5134P,

my thoughts are these; I like the overall presence of the black dial and contrast with the platinum case. However, I dislike that the hands look harder to read at a glance. I’ve not seen the black dial myself in the flesh, but the two tone of the standard...
