Why is the patek 1526 so much less expensive than the 3448, for example? I can't figure it out? thanks! FA

34mm and less for complications get far less than those sized 36-38mm. Not my opinion, just factual market data

.....at 37.6mm, the 3448 is a very contemporary size that makes it, plausibly, easier to wear. The market will put a premium on that. Also, consider that the 3448 is more historic, being the first ever automatic perpetual calendar made by any manufacturer... 

from a aging hipster's perspective, i like how smaller vintage watches look period appropriate. very tempting me to see those as a value buy. ...
