I have had a few vintage Patek watches on my "watch list" for several years, trying to learn as much as I can about the references before I added one to my collection. Recently, I decided to make an effort to find one for my collection. I came across a beautiful 570G last month, which I shared here a few weeks ago. I was not in a hurry to add another watch, but when a stellar 3579 became available, I figured that it was meant to be. The 3579 was made in very limited quantities from 1969 to 1974 or so. It has a steel case came with either a silver or blue sunburst dial. To me, the blue dial coupled with its C-shape case gives it a very unique look, especially for Patek. I hope that you enjoy it.
