Personally off / after the wrist has always seemed the most comfortable. On the wrist doesn’t feel right to me - and looks a bit ‘gangsta’

The photos here seem to show a preference for just above the hand so that it peeks out slightly when wearing a suit. For me, it depends on the type of strap and how secure I feel when wearing it. I wear the strap tighter above the wrist bone if I'm wearin...

Having the watch unable to fit at all under the cuff troubles me somehow. That watch looks great on you, though!
With a precious metal bracelet, you don't want the watch directly next to the wrist.
This is because the flexing of the wrist can exert a lot of leverage on the bracelet, leading to "stretch" between the links. You want a snug fit that keeps the watch above your wrist. That's directly from some higher-up at Breguet I annoyed once.
It's best to wear on the back of the hand, a la Leo (see pic). So it won't interfere with your shirt cuff.

Reminds me when ShameOnWrist said that Leo D is too ashamed to be the TAG ambassador so he can only hold it stifly in his hand and not actually strap it on his wrist.
