my new #5980 which i just picked up last week has completely stopped. winding does not restart it. has anyone else had any problems with the 5980?

well maybe your not winding it correctly...

....the first time I tried to charge it, I was not sure to do in the right way. After wearing it started fully recharge correctly but with a "strong" rumor. 5712 is ten times better in this situation and also in wearing ( light and perfect in using ) . Re...  

like the 3712/1a ?? I am hearing this news very often but nothing officially.......... or maybe they are just calling back the first series like Rolex Milgauss green crystal ... thanks for your info !

I just purchased a 5980 today. My AD called and offered me a 5980 so I snapped it up and felt like I was a lucky guy. Too bad I was not more aware of the 5980 quality issues before I made my purchase. I guess I should be reading the discussion boards more...
