Watch winder setting for caliber 324 sc
Patek has told me that the winder should run for four hours at 15 rotations per minute (counterclockwise) then rest for eight hours and repeat. That seems to be a lot of rotations per day, 7200!
I looked up the recommendation on Orbita website; 800 turns per day, counterclockwise.
Does anybody have any other official information on the use of a winder for this particular calibre? I am concerned that over-winding it may damage the clutch.

I think the difference here is measuring an engine in revolutions per minute versus beats per hour. A modern watch runs at 240 rpm or 8 bps. No car engine even idles at that. If a car could idle at 240 it could run for years and years. Not to mention at s...
