The Nautilus (to me) has acquired a negative touch, given all these "new customers". They have not much in common with traditional qualities of Patek. To me vintage Rolex is much more interesting, if you are looking for sports watches. A high-quality Role... 

Does anyone really believe is a long manufacturing process to make a case and bracelet by CNC?

Thierry says they don't want to become the second Audemars Piguet, yet today all that Patek is known for by most people is... the Nautilus. Okay, you see some hyped discontinued complications too and only here and there a few current complications. Still ...

Templates make this work pretty easy. The term "handfinishing" is used inflationary in todays world and has nothing to do with real hand craftsmanship like engraving or polishing the angelage with a wooden stick – things that take skill.

However, Ellen DeGeneres is a not just a celebrity, but a serious watch nerd with some vintage Rolex. She is one of us! Maybe some of these others are as well. Anyway, that's a very tangential point. I would say we need a similar article on Rolex. Word is...

20% for any product line. Assuming a yearly production of 60k, each Nautilus and Aquanaut line will have 12,000 pieces divided by the various models for male and female watches. Are a combined 24,000 pieces of Nautilus and Aquanaut too much or too few for...

That Patek exept from the collectors and watchs nerds like us was totally unknown to "population" probably 3 or 5 years ago (unlike Rolex). Who would be mad enough to put 10s of K€ in a watch Now with easy money and instagram every one wants to show off w... 

I am a big fan of Nautilus and I have also collected a bunch of those. But I am very surprised. Nautilus is not the only nice and absolutely well made sporting watch. Let's take VC Overseas as an example: same quality movement, high brand image, perfectly...

Mr Sterns' position isn't new, he told the same a year ago or so and shared his view on the overall capacity vs each product line in PP. I'm not even sure of the 'high demand' of Nautilus 5711 or 5712 specifically - those are very well (instantly) availab... 

I’m fun that way. I prefer round watches. Have tried almost every Nautilus but never fallen in love. The only one I almost ordered was the 5740. Maybe if they make one in P with 120m 😋 I feel lucky that I don’t have this problem. It’s hard enough to get e... 

They dropped AP and Hublot so they will drop PP for the next Instagram watch. This Nautilus fashion definitely tarnishes the understated elegance that is the core of PP’s philosophy. I think production should terminated before it is too late.

Does anyone have info regarding production/sales of steel vs P, G, R, J. in Nautilus references. The ad refers to The Costliest Steel Watch. I personally believe that the Nautilus was designed to be a steel watch... along with Rolex, and AP sport models. ...
