You are right, of course. I spoke hastily and should have said: a dial
similar to that in the 5127. I suppose the dimensions, in particular
the outer diameter, of the 5296 010 dial are also different from
those of the 5127 dial (e.g. because the 5127 measures 37 mm, whereas
the 5298 measures 38 mm).
By the way:
1) I always very much enjoy yours photo's, info, and ' scoops'; many thanks for sharing!
2) Do you know whether the case of the 5296 010 is rhodium-plated? I
read somewhere that Patek finally yielded and gave up this
plating nonsense (if you'll pardon my French). I know that
rhodium is more white or bright, but IMHO white gold 'as such' is nice
too.
