Mr Sterns' position isn't new, he told the same a year ago or so and shared his view on the overall capacity vs each product line in PP.
I'm not even sure of the 'high demand' of Nautilus 5711 or 5712 specifically - those are very well (instantly) available to choose from secondary market if one is ready to pay.
what i'm really not happy with is, a house like PP should be able to control who gets a Nautilus, how the wait list can be managed globally (similar to what FPJ did for CB).
with all due respect to PP, I don't find their interest seems more to fuel the price hype rather than addressing that the watches goes to a collector.
I say this as we see regularly 2019 unboxed versions in secondary market, while PP claims 3-5 years for any Nautilus.
nothing against PP, I'm fan of some of their watches & aspire to own one in the future.
this is purely my personal POV.
