If you look closely at the date window in the pics, you'll also notice that the the top part of the date window shows a bit of the next day date's marking. This is probably the 'sticky date' issue I read about experienced by other people as well with the Caliber 324SC? Will also highlight this when I send it the watch.

With these flaws, and given that this is a newly purchased watch, I would insist on a substitute that is NIB. This is totally unacceptable from an AD.

I also had a problem with a new PP 5711. The 12 o'clock markers were not properly aligned and there was a problem screwing in the winding stem. My watch was one of the last 5711 (2009) with the Geneva seal, purchased in the US.
