thank you so much now the explanation from the guide in the PP museum makes more sense that its a mix of mechanical and electric. I really do like the idea of the solar panels any reason they stopped using them?

Hello Dauster, our latest Rare Handcraft clock releases (both dome and small dome table clocks) are powered by the Caliber 17''' PEND mechanical movement, rewound by an electric motor.
