I respect JLC more than PP, AP or VC. They conceived the ideas, but often JLC executed it. For the price of an unloved, used Patek, you could buy a new fully in-house movement, case and bracelet from the brand many call Patek's "kissing cousin." And JLC has so many cool pieces. Their accomplishments, which they seldom tout, are often breathtaking - like the "simple" Reverso Duoface.

What is the "cheapest" PP, the unloved child of the brand?
31mm manual wind yellow gold ones from the early 1960ies? Aquanats in quartz? Sculpture? Mid-size Ellipses with that Italic "Quartz" logo on the dial?

My wife has a quartz aquanaut I bought her 25 years ago. She still loves it. I have the 3923 and 3796, both 31 mm with the 215 PC, and they are well balanced and a joy to wear. Later iterations just enlarged the cases.
Why the interest in the unloved PP?
For the same money, you could get a nice VC or AP?
