Both are amazing in their own ways but everything except the manufacturer is different. One is a mechanical grand complication and the other an automatic enamel dial world time.
However if I owned a blue dial 5270G and a 5131R and was contemplating the addition of either a 5131G/J or 5970G/J/R, I would probably go 5970J. Different metal, movement and a white dial. Alternatively something completely different for diversity. 5975P perhaps? In the end hard to predict what holds best value economy wise, so best to go for something that speaks to you. That way you will get value in my opinion.

Yes, retail price from AD of 5131R is 60000 SFr. But I am referring to 5131J and 5131G, which can no longer be bought form AD now.
The market price (2nd hand price) of 5131J and 5131G is now similar to price of 5970 G/J/R. Thanks.
