unless they gain --what--20-30K a year?? Is it really financially meaningful?
I sold a 5970 12 years ago for about 35K less than it is worth now...
That is 2.9K a year...
Like this 5711... yeah it's skyrocketing... but if you paid 50K for it --so what?
Year on year... dividing your gains... it's relatively meaningless and any good business would outperform it spectacularly...
It's an emotional high, I get it... but... shrug...
The watch itself does not live up.
The bracelet is flimsy and movement boring...
A true example of hollow hype....
I look forward to the replacement reference and hope it is a more serious example of what we would expect --those many years ago--from Patek...
I like a few new Pateks no doubt... but this one... aiiii....
