Pulled this out recently. Had forgotten how much I enjoy this reference.
Despite their obvious similarities, aesthetically and functionally the 5990/1A is a very different proposition versus its older brother, the 5980/1A. I’m very biased toward the Nautilus blue, but the richness of this grey dial and its overall composition really is striking. It really is enjoyable to discover a “new”piece in the vault...without spending yet another £/$/€/¥ 😉

The beautiful circles of life we go through. Love the 5990, excellent compliment to the Porsche or is the Porsche a conpliement to the 5990. Enjoy
