Patek's 2023 Collection is LIVE!
Dear Friends,
it's with enormous pleasure that I can introduce to you live Patek Philippe's STUNNING 2023 creations! 
The 2023 Collection features a total of 17 new in-catalog models, along with a selection of exclusive, out-of-catalog Rare Handcrafts! These latter include 25 table clocks and 12 pocket watches (all unique pieces), as well as 30 limited-edition wristwatches.
The new in-catalog models are also being unveiled in real time, as we speak, on Patek's official site at:

Very nice novelties and it is wonderful that I have no more cash to buy any of them! But if I could afford any of them, the 5531G is absolutely gorgeous!
Many thanks for your input, also from a designer perspective, if I recall correctly. What's sure is that this new Calatrava trio has (expectedly) provoked very strong -- and far from unanimous -- reactions among collectors, so far...
Typically, this happens with a new Patek release *right before* everyone tries to source it.....so it will be interesting to continue to follow! Cheers.

That could actually be spectacular as a couple watch -- impossible to beat, I would say! ;-))
I'm sure JPV is the artist's signature, I should look into it -- in the past, a few Rare Handcrafts of the same 7000 line were signed by Anita Porchet's atelier (the famous 'AP'), but I believe I don't recall this signature! Cheers.

That's clear .. dreaming costs nothing and i still need to recover from the last 5231 ... 90K€ is massive .. So, overall, even if i may seem to be on criticizing a bit i am in fact happy as i may not have a big dillemna this year
I've mainly been interested in Patek but also Rolex this year, including the new Ti YM and also the 'playful OP' (I might ask for the 41mm for me and the 36 for my GF, who loves it, but given my status as a Rolex collector they'll be TOUGH to get! :-)
This new 5316 is close to the top of our catalog (MSRP is CHF 830k, which translates to well over $900k), but I'm very happy of the overall success, including models that many people will criticize but then -- I'm sure -- everyone will try to source (how ...

Many thanks Sir, I just checked and you are indeed correct -- the Swiss version of Patek's website does display prices in CHF for all in-catalog models ;-)
I have no input over Patek's site, but a likely explanation is that, for the more rare pieces, prices in *other currencies* are sometimes determined at the time of the allocation (depending on conversion rate and other factors). Local prices are therefore...

;-))) That is correct, as I was mentioning earlier Ms. Porchet and her atelier did author this same Rare Handcraft reference in past years, while I do not recall seeing the 'JPV' signature before...
I checked in the pretty detailed material I have for this reference and it's not indicated, so I should look into this further out of curiosity! Cheers.

disappointed in everything except the rare handcrafts
i just can't figure out the lumed arabic strategy - unless it's just as simple as an attempt to make a gold dress watch look a bit sportier - but it just seems incongruent to me.

Yep, even in this fast-moving world, I have no doubt that Patek's unique history and DNA will always be reflected in its offering...
However, striking a balance between tradition and innovation is never a simple exercise, and in my (necessarily personal) view, it looks like the current Patek lineup is being *very* successful at it! It will also be interesting to see how Patek's *sports...

Many beautifully made pieces. However, Patek seems to be further away from subtle beauty. This is the first time Patek new releases are not attractive to me.
My sincere pleasure Sir, and thank-you for providing your valuable feedback on my forum! Small but incremental changes in certain design aspects, from classical to more colorful/daring, have no doubt been a recurring theme of our recent releases...
While I (very much!) appreciate this more modern elegant code, I can totally understand others may not... Hope you'll find further releases that may appeal to you in the future! Cheers.
