The P has a very different feel to any of the other metals. A part of that is the effect of the bracelet that accentuates the "coolness" of the watch. There is an austerity to the dial that is not there on the other metals. In a scan below, I include the "R" as a comparison. The R, G and Y all have a degree of warmth to the dial in terms of their colouring. The P doesn't. There is a distinct lack of warmth to the enamel. Blues. Greens. White. Cold colours and that really comes across. But then, to my mind, that is exactly what this watch is about. Ice.

Interesting thoughts about the 'warmth' of the metals. I never noticed any difference between G and P in that department (but then again, I am an idiot for such aesthetic things, just look at my belt, hehe). What does puzzle me is your choice of the brace...

......i meant the difference in the colour of the dials, not the metals. G dial is warmer than P dial. Bracelet? I am working through that one. I have to say, I think there is a possibility that it ends up on strap.

Not sure. Taste will play a big part there. For me, it is certainly up there. Funny...a friend of mine recently told me that he couldn't have a 5975 on his wrist as the dial was so confusing. I look at that dial and find it chaotic.....and that actually a...

for me it is the colour balance on the 5131P that makes it so special. Just in my eyes, extremely appealing. Of course, others may prefer something else.

Inspect them, polish them with a cloth, wind them ... but that would be another time consuming act, considering your collection.

On blue strap but the bracelet is groing on me. Has a very slinky feel. I will still try the leather strap but gaps at the lugs will be ugly. As a white metal fan...luv it
