I've been in such situation a while ago...

I've been dreaming about the 5110P for a very long time, but I knew I would have to let go another piece that I liked a lot: my RM010. Moreover, with prices going up like crazy I knew I would not be able to afford another RM in case I regret my choice. It was a tough call even though everybody was telling me to make the move....

Now I'm a VERY proud owner of this beauty:

...and I don't regret it any single day!

If you already had a 5110G, you know the size is perfect! The blue dial adds, IMO, a bit of fun in case you wear there watch dressed down: Perfect with a pair of jeans.
I understand you would need to sell 3 pieces to get this one. The question for you is: do you prefer quality over quantity ;-)

Let us know your decision!

Best regards,

I have rarely seen such a beautiful and qualitative piece during my young watch journey. everything is quality. the size is perfect, the extra weight brought by the platinum is appreciable. It could be mine but I should part with 3 pieces. I'm tempted, I ...

I highly recommend to go for it, P or G, you won't regret

As an owner of the G, I can tell that the watch is very wearable and versatile, a pleasure to strap on. The extra weight of the P is a nice point, but I prefer the dial on the G, it's extremely legible with those beautiful and sexy sharp hands.

In the long term, you rarely regret buying a Patek Philippe. After that it’s down to personal preference.

This is my favorite version of the Patek "World Time" watch.

 By: Katzky1 : January 9th, 2019-03:52
My only complaint is that it indicates "Mexico" instead of "Chicago" on the dial. I kind of understand that they did not want to be overly "US centric" but... they could have at the very least created two versions [like JLC].

owning the P & G in one collection would be awesome!

the G has the versatility, you can play with lots of strap color. while the P with the gorgeous blue guilloche has a more elegant tone & the extra heft is something we really appreciate. i believe the P & G could co- exist within one collection cheers

an upgrade to a much higher level in my opinion. If I were you, I would sell the G and another one or two to get the P which can be worn often. Let us know what you decide.
