For my part I really need the date window witch is usefull. The white 5711, with its white date window is the best 5711 iteration, imo, if you want the date…I choose the white 5726, because of the AC complication, and the simmetry…Cheers !

So true and yet they continue to put it there. Some customers must enjoy the functionality of a date window, but most dial look better without

Unless it is “off” and too far from the usual position. Agree the black frame on this window makes it a more balanced dial watch.
