Partly in relation to the thread below querying whether auction prices actually reflect real world prices, I just saw Sotheby's October catalogue which included a STUNNING Patek 5002 in platinum and black dial. Given that the yellow gold version lists for Sfr990,000, any guesses for the valuation Sotheby's tagged on the watch?
1,200,000 - 1,500,000!
BTW, did I say it's in USD??!!!
Has anybody seen it and if so, what are your thoughts?
