One would have thought
that Patek would have made sure there are enough artisans to produce the enamel and hence make the watch more easily available. After-all, several other watch makers produce similar very good enamel dials and they don't seem to face such constraints. I was offered a 5130P in place of the 5131, but I think the 5131 is a better looking watch. 5130P should be be readily available. Is that right?

But I'm going to have to buy mine from another gent who is taking delivery to sell it. Apparently there is only one person (a lady) who is rumored to does all the enamel work for Patek (watches and clocks) hence the wait.

Although one of my acquaintances got delivery of the J last week from our mutual AD. They're out there, more coming. Will post photos if/when it all comes together in the coming wks.
