I like every Nautilus, but the 5712 is my personal favorite.
The 5712 is flawed, that micro-rotor 240 caliber is really special and cool. But the micro rotor is SO NOT EFFICIENT at winding. Sometimes I'll walk 10,000+ steps a day and the power reserve didn't build at all! The 5711 with a blue face is great, but the white date disc does clash with the rest of the dial (although that clash wouldn't stop me from getting one). The 5980 is really cool, but personally I prefer the 5960, but that's just me. And some people don't like the layout of the 5712. It's not as symmetrical as the other layouts, it's a little strange to some individuals. The unusual layout of the 5712 doesn't bother me though. I kind of like it.

This type of sales tactic is not what Patek wants its ADs to do.
From a business perspective I understand why that AD did so but they are not supposed to do so.

While I loved all of the 12’s uniqueness in the dial and it’s thinness like the 11, I went for the symmetric dial and the date aperture vs, the sub dial date in the 12. If I could I should have both as they are different enough and wear totally different ...
