I love them!

However I would never buy it as at 40mm too small for my taste.  My preference is 42mm.

Having said that I love the fact that Patek is willing to be so bold, so different and try something new.  You have aquanaut, 5905, this all just so different.   Look at Rolex-  oh look, same watch but we have a new dial.  Look at AP- oh look- same damn watch but we have the Royal Oak Offshore Flava Flav.

Patek is not perfect but I’m loving the fact you have so many choices and styles you can choose.

Not enough love for this trio?

I thought the 6007 was a popular model amongst the PP lovers. ...

I find the blue one to be sharp

Probably will be hyped because "Tiffany blue", buy would be a good watch to wear on a trip or casually.

Yes, the steel one, limited edition, with a 28k retail price was popular

Apples and oranges as they say.....

That bad huh?

 By: Centurionone : March 28th, 2023-17:32

They're not bad. They're just "in the moment."

Yves Saint Laurent said "Fashions fade, style is eternal." Is this one fashion or style? In my eyes, slightly more on the fashion side.

True!

We should be thankful!

We certainly can't argue with that statement. :-)

 By: Centurionone : March 29th, 2023-12:18
As to fashion or style, history shows that certain fashions became style icons overtime so who knows.. may be, may be not!

True!

We shall see! And if it does become style... Which color would be the most stylish one? Everybody used to specify red stitching and red brake calipers on their sports cars - then it was yellow stitching. Now, for McLaren and Lamborghini people are choosin...

Great Calatramvox. :))))

Hehehe! ;)

Pornatrava?

 By: amanico : March 28th, 2023-21:04

That makes it sound like Calamari. Are these watches edible?

 By: patrick_y : March 28th, 2023-19:22
They're so colorful, like candy. Maybe they're edible?

Lollipox. :)

Good entry mode for the young generation

 By: penfriend : March 28th, 2023-17:45
So not for me 😅

They look almost disposable like a Swatch...

 By: patrick_y : March 28th, 2023-19:42
I get MoonSwatch vibes here.

I prefer the earlier steel version (at retail).

 By: BigAppleBill : March 28th, 2023-17:52
But this new release instantly reminded me of Omega’s Olympic Games Editions. ...

I would gladly take any of them!

By: Chronometer (aka yacomino) : March 28th, 2023-18:12

The 6007 LE set the stage for this reference.

 By: GLau : March 28th, 2023-18:24
A more sporty Calatrava for younger collectors ? Which one did you AD say is the most sought after ? I would gladly take any of of them as I am a “young” at here collector. 😃

I go to the salon in London and didn’t really ask about the popularity

Just expressed an interest in the yellow one

No love

 By: Weems@8 : March 28th, 2023-19:10
Totally not my thing. But i would also look from the side of Patek collectors. It could be that the trio looks a bit too sporty? Not handy for the more conservative people who like the classy Patek’s more. Give me an Audemars Piguet code 11:59 and i melt....

Thank you for your input

Maybe we will see a fourth color in a special edition for the Tokyo Grand Exhibition?

 By: brandon.c : March 29th, 2023-04:16
I quite like the yellow, but I am holding out until June hoping we see a purple one for the Tokyo Grand Exhibition. It is just a guess on my part but it would be a good fit imo. (I would also love to see a chronograph-only version of the 5924 without the ...

Obviously if these were steel offerings they would have caused a frenzy of epic interest.

 By: ArmisT : March 29th, 2023-05:08
I love each one, but yellow is too cool.👌🏽

Indeed, just like the LE did.

 By: Centurionone : March 29th, 2023-12:19

The yellow one is also my pick, but ...

By: COUNT DE MONET : March 29th, 2023-05:48
I find an embossed strap un-cool. For the money Patek is charging, a real carbon strap would be much more appropiate. Furhter the dial: what material is it made of and is the pattern also only stamped?

those watches are a joke - and a bad one, particularly at 40K euros.

 By: Peter : March 29th, 2023-06:28
PP is running out of steam. the rare handcraft collection gets more and more ridiculous as well, except the 5531G.

Would you care to elaborate on " the joke"please?

 By: Centurionone : March 29th, 2023-12:11
The price is higher than the steel limited edition due to the white gold premium like in all watches. As for the handcrafts it is a dying art as there are very few artists on the scene that are worth their salt and as always the price is set due to supply...

the calatravas look like cheap tag heuers, the change of colors is not really a strike of genius. we can ...

...envisage further editions in orange, purple and - very limited of course- in tiffany blue. TS wants to attract young customers by copying over concepts that other watch brands have already forgotten about, instead of following up on the great PP past. ...

I feel like you are being overly critical rare handcrafts motives are

highly subjective and every year there are ones I like and others I dislike. Also it's an out of catalogue relaease in very limited numbers, same goes for the new 5531 (even though in catalogue) - sure the swissflag is a little too much in the foreground ...
