"Almost always," Volker, for as long as I'm the moderator. As you and Fram noticed, when I learnt from Patek of today's announcement, I MISTAKENLY assumed it would involve new watches, like it often did. I gave it for granted, and in that I was WRONG.

So let me also take this opportunity to thank both Patek and the many members here for their AMAZING and constant support, both publicly and privately, especially today --- it might have not been easy to wake up at 2.30am and start posting everything on t...

Or maybe I misunderstood FRAM’s comment. I was just saying that I expect something new from PP this Thursday. And FRAM was questioning whether I’m right this time, while I was saying to him that I’m always right (joking a bit too). Nothing in this convers...

Need to wait a while before I can fly to Geneva to visit the museum.

....and Patek's own collection of some of its most legendary timepieces! Enjoy :-)

The first Swiss wristwatch ever! (1868) The first perpetual calendar (1898) The first split-second chrono (1923) The Graves Grand Complication (1919) Packard’s Astronomical Watch (1925) The first Patek repeater (1916) The legendary Caliber 89 (pic 1) Cali...

All these pieces are breathtaking, seeing them again makes me look forward to going back NOW! ;-)) In 2018 they gave me the most amazing Italian guide (the legendary Signora Marinella, even if she had to speak English for my girlfriend! ;-))

I just saw in the next pictures also some pretty incredible enamels from the Patek era...no sleep tonight either I'm afraid, but it's totally worth it to put these things together for the forum!

Agreed. Totally worth it.

And finally, the Library (Third Floor) ...

No problem and my sincere pleasure to share the big news from Patek, especially all the new pictures must be pretty terrific for those who can't travel in person to the Museum (or haven't yet! ;-)

Next week is my Fall break here, so (except for a couple of surprise visits to ADs! ;-)) I might possibly have some time to sleep! Cheers.

The museum is one of my favourite places in the whole world!

I celebrated one of my birthdays by spending it there. Patek were kind enough to arrange a private tour which I am truly grateful for!

Good post Fab ….
