In 2000 when the 5100 was produced
black leather straps seemed like standard issue on watches. Nowadays though, dark brown, burgundy and dark blue seem to match the various metals much better. Well done on the change!!
On the contrary
you have good taste and the strap you chose adds further class and elegance to the watch.
